While studying physics in high school, I’d learned that light acted both as a wave and as a particle. I continued to learn more about its behavior while getting a degree in electrical engineering. During the winter of my sophomore year, one of my professors put Maxwell’s Equations on the board. They described, in numeric form, how electrical and magnetic fields interacted with each other. And for the first time, I made a direct correlation from my studies in the applied sciences to the first chapter of Genesis.
Maxwell might have deduced those laws through careful study back in the 1860s, but God formulated them in the beginning. And I couldn’t help but make a slight adjustment to my notes both above and below Maxwell’s equations.
